Dick Kiernan

Dick Kiernan

NHA Coordinator

Bedford, NH

Dick would describe himself as a ‘cradle Catholic’ with a unique faith journey. Raised in the Catholic Church, he deviated from this at age 14 and converted to atheism for ten years. At age 24, he came back to the Lord through the Evangelical campus ministry, The Navigators, went on to be discipled by charismatics, and later theologized at a Catholic renewal University. Together, these experiences exposed him to different streams and expressions within the Church and gave him love and appreciation for the entire Body of Christ. In 1990, he joined the prayer movement that would later become the NH Alliance. In 2003, when the NH Alliance was established, he said yes to serving on the NHA Board and the NH Alliance Coordinator. In this role, he oversees the activities and events of the NH Alliance. In addition to working with the NHA, Dick has worked full time with Alpha New England for the last 14 years. His atheist journey made him passionate about evangelism and winning the churched and un-churched alike for Christ. Dick has five children ages 15-25, all of whom are believers and four who actively serve the Lord in some way. He believes the Lord is calling for Christians to unite all God’s people for the greater purpose of revival and awakening to reach the lost. In his words, “how can we do otherwise?”

Alan Graustein

Alan Graustein

NHA Board Chair

Sanborton, New Hampshire

Alan has worked most of his life in support of Christian schooling. Through this, he’s had the joy of observing how God moves when like-minded people come together to accomplish Kingdom purposes. At the time of his retirement, he felt the Lord directing his thoughts to his next ‘assignment.’ It was clear that much of his time was to be spent encouraging unity among the Body of Christ in New Hampshire. When a colleague in the Lakes Region needed to step back from his work with the NH Alliance due to health reasons, he invited Alan to join him in the role of Regional Coordinator. From this role, Alan was asked to join the NH Alliance Board, where he continues to serve today.

Today, Alan and his wife Joan live in Sanbornton and attend Laconia Christian Fellowship. Joan also serves the NH Alliance as a coordinator for the NH Alliance Intercessors Network. They have two sons and five grandchildren in NH and Maryland.

Josiah Armstrong

Josiah Armstrong

Windham, New Hampshire

A heart for reconciliation and unity has been a continuous theme in Josiah’s life. From a young age, he was a peer mediator with culturally diversified friends and learned to fight for harmony in relationships in his family. After coming to the Lord in 1999, he joined the New England based ministry Youthstorm. Youthstorm was committed to uniting the Body of Christ, raising up a younger generation in the Lord, and contending for revival in New England. It was through Youthstorm that Josiah was introduced to the prayer movement that eventually became the NH Alliance.

Today, he serves on the NH Alliance Board while serving as the Regional Coordinator for Rockingham County. In this role, he spearheads collaboration with Churches in the greater-Salem area. His passion is to network and bring unique ministry expressions together for Kingdom purposes. He also partners with the New England Alliance, a grassroots movement bringing together the Body of Christ across New England.

Josiah is also the founder of Forerunner Fitness & The School Of Warrior Arts, a faith-based martial arts program. He serves on the Senior Leadership Team of The Crossing Life Church, a church plant of Youthstorm. He and his wife Crystal serve in the Apostolic team of Life Alliance, a global family of churches and ministries partnered in the Great Commission. They live in Derry, NH with their two children, Jubilee and Asher.
