There has never been a time where the assault against our children has been so fierce. She's developing an online community of women who would be interested in continuing to learn and pray together for our children and grandchildren throughout the year. The United Church of Winchester is offering a support group for families affected by addiction and for people in any stage of recovery. The group meets on Thursdays and is run on the “All Recovery” model, meaning that all people affected by addiction are welcomed and all paths to recovery are embraced.  There is no charge for participating.  Coffee and snacks are provided.  Questions? Call 603-239-4465 or email unitedchurchofwinchester@myfairpoint.net.

Milford House of Prayer (MHOP), which previously had regular prayer meetings every Thursday at 7:00 pm, is temporarily on hold due to COVID-19.  It continues as a ministry of LWCC.  We are very active in prayer and have various venues of worship and intercessory prayer. The Power Station Coffee House Ministry concert takes place at At the Cross Church in Antrim and consists of musicians sharing their music and testimonies of Jesus Christ's accessibility and availability to save all who would call upon his name. Musicians and speakers share their testimonies of being freed from addictions, broken heartedness, fear and oppression, and tell about this new life they have found in Jesus Christ. Bible Boot Camp is a study for anyone who wants to increase their knowledge and memory of scripture. We are particularly looking at the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Participants will be taught techniques to help remember Bible verses, and apply them to their life. You can participate in person, at the meeting house Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. or via Zoom. Cathy K. holds a weekly prayer vigil year-round on Wednesdays (surgical abortion day), on the sidewalk outside Planned Parenthood. The vigil is held from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Cathy provides signs for vigil participants with loving messages offering help to the mothers in need.
