We concentrate our efforts on three communal activities within the body of Christ: prayer, pastors, and worship. In addition, NHA serves as an “incubator” for other ministries wanting to start in New Hampshire.
Prayer is critical to seek the will of God and commune with him, to serve others by requesting for God’s intervention on their behalf, and provides a mechanism of unity as His people seek Him together. NHA Prayer is the main activity in this area, but prayer is also a big part of everything that we do.
Pastors play a critical role in Church leadership. We have found that they need fellowship, refreshment, encouragement, and a platform to deliberate the intersection of the gospel and our culture. Our main activity in this area is the NHA Servant/Leaders Fellowship group. Recently, NHA Servant/Leaders Fellowship Pastors have been deliberating about racism, ethnicity, sin, and grace in NH and in the church, and what it means to love our neighbors. Over time, they will also consider other relevant topics where the gospel meets society.
Worship brings us into the presence of God together, as one people. Every tribe and every tongue will worship at the throne of God in eternity. We aim to start now! We can also offer works of service to churches by helping them fill vacancies on their worship teams or by writing worship music that reflects what God is saying to New Hampshire during this time. Our main activities in this area are Regional Nights of Worship and 603Worship, a worship music writing coop.
Incubation ministries represent the action of God’s love to this world. We want to help support any good works going on in the name of Jesus in New Hampshire. We want to serve both churches and Christian ministries. We’re also willing and able to lovingly support any effort that will help others, although our focus is Christ-centered ministry support. Our main activities in this area have been around the establishment of the Good Samaritan Network, and our putting on yearly events where ministry leaders in the area can connect and encourage each other. Our aim is to provide a nourishing ecosystem in which ministries in NH can grow up into a thriving state.
